OMFG! We need to make sure he nor any of his type ever get this close to the White House again. This man is demented. If he weren’t rich he’d be in a nut house being led away to take his meds. How, how, how can people not see him as a true threat to democracy? We have to stamp out racism and misogyny, and blind hate of the LGBTIQ community now while we still can. He said we need to fight, and that’s the only words that were true to come out of his mouth, but we, the never Trump people, need to fight to preserve democracy.
In my experience, his supporters ONLY see the possibilty that they will personally benefit financially from his election and on that basis alone, they support anything he says or does. I am a Christian, but Trump is never getting my vote. I know, some Christians believe that Trump was anointed by God to be president, they have also believed this concerning every Republican presidential candidate for years. Still, I have never felt God stirring my heart to vote for any GOP candidate for president.
Just after this instruction to Christians, Trump said that he wasn’t a Christian. I have commented about this several times. No one even seems to have heard his words except for me! Anyone who has studied the Bible and taught Sunday school classes or confirmation classes knows that Trump has no understanding of Christianity. I went to so many churches when I was exploring christianity where people would not discuss politics at church or even amongst themselves. So they can't even discern right from wrong at the ballot box. But instead of insulting them, he gives them a backhanded compliment. They probably fell for it too lol.
My 70 year old friend was lamenting that he had zero churches to recommend me because they all don't tell you the truth.
